The “Friends of Moosehorn” announce the 2009
“Take Your Best Shot!”
Photo Contest
Contest Rules:
1.
You must be the person who took the photo(s) and the sole owner of photo(s) submitted.
2.
Competition is for amateurs only.
3.
The image’s main subject must be plant or animal. Landscapes,
seascapes, sunsets, sunrises, and images of domestic animals are not allowed.
4.
Entries must be 8” by 10” prints and either black-and-white or color.
No entry fee required. Photos should be mailed in a protective folder or between two
pieces of cardboard, to: Friends of Moosehorn NWR,

Entries must have an address label adhered to the back with the
following information: Photographer’s name, address, and phone number, title of
photo, when and where photo was taken, description of photo subject, and type
of equipment used. Do not write directly
on photo.
6.
Judges are appointed by the Friends of Moosehorn. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be
given. Entries will be displayed and the
winners will be announced at the annual Friends of Moosehorn
Banquet on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 6:00 PM at the

The Friends of Moosehorn reserves the
right to change the contest rules without prior notification.

The deadline for submission of entries is Saturday, August 29, 2009.
9.
Winners under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian to claim prize.
10.
No more than 2 entries per person.
11.
Winners of the contest’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places must allow the
Friends of Moosehorn Refuge to use the winning image
to promote the contest. Credits will be given to the photographer along with
contest place won.
