Board Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6 pm at the Headquarters Building, in Baring. Members and guests are welcome.

Focus Activities

Increased community recognition of the values of the refuge and its wildlife.

Provide advocacy for the refuge to support management and interpretation of the refuge.

Develop teacher packets and educational materials specific to our area.

Help refuge with volunteer efforts.

Help the refuge host special events such as fishing derbies, and an open house.

Help refuge establish and maintain trails.

Support the Youth Conservation Corps Program and other established educational programs.

Friends of Mooshorn Hat The hat is cotton khaki with light green denim brim, with a stitched moose head and Friends of Moosehorn. Also comes with a velcro band for adjustable sizing.
